The last true wilderness in Europe
Time for a new adventure! This time, we’re heading to the Balkans – to Albania, the land of old Mercedes cars, where rugged mountain landscapes meet genuine hospitality and authentic vibes. This is a moving trip, during which we’ll start in Pogradec on Lake Ohrid and make our way all the way to the Ionian Sea coast in Vlora.
Why Albania? Because it’s the last place in Europe where you can still feel true wilderness and exoticism. Although tourism is slowly growing, the interior remains empty, wild, and untamed. We already know this country from previous private trips. It captivated us, which is why we’ve prepared a camp here this year.
Eight days of traversing the Balkans at their most spectacular await. Of course, we ride light – luggage is transported along the route by a support vehicle. If you dream of a journey with the feeling of discovering new worlds – Albania is waiting for you!

Bilety lotnicze kupujesz we własnym zakresie. Rekomendowane połączenia to:

Nie potrzebujesz wykupować bagażu rejestrowanego, bo Twój bagaż i rower transportujemy busem.
Dla powyższych lotów zapewniamy transfery lotniskowe – nie musisz się niczym martwić. W przypadku wyboru innych połączeń niż powyższe, prosimy o informację z godzinami lotów - postaramy się zorganizować alternatywny transfer.
Transport
Dwa dni przed wylotem (27.05) pakujemy rowery i bagaże do busa w Warszawie. Po drodze zatrzymujemy się jeszcze w Krakowie. Analogicznie dwa dni po locie powrotnym (09.06) zorganizujemy odbiór rowerów i bagażu w tych samych miastach. Jeśli jesteś z innej części Polski, napisz nam o tym w uwagach do zgłoszenia – spróbujemy coś zorganizować.
Accommodation
This is a moving trip – almost every night we stay in a different location. The only exception is the first double night in Pogradec. We’ll stay in guesthouses and hotels – rooms are mostly double or triple, with laundry access whenever possible. The price includes breakfast at all accommodations.
For an additional 1100 PLN, single-room accommodation is available.

Routes
In Albania, you have to be ready for anything. The entire country is a massive construction site, with beautiful new asphalt being laid at a rapid pace. At the same time, you can still encounter gravel and loose stones even on national roads. Road classification here often bears no relation to the actual condition, and map updates can’t keep up with reality. So surprises on the route are always possible :) Nevertheless, we spent long hours planning and did our best to minimize the risk of encountering impassable or unpleasant sections.
Over 8 days of riding, we’ll cross southern Albania from inland to the coast, admiring diverse landscapes and finishing along the country’s most famous road. This time, the ratio of asphalt to gravel will be roughly 60/40%, but for greater comfort we still recommend tires around 45 mm wide or more.
Note: we reserve the right to make changes to the schedule below that do not significantly affect distances or elevation gains.

You won't find her at races or on a trainer. But don't get it wrong - she rides over a dozen thousand kilometers every year.
