Back to the land of Poland’s finest gravel
This June long weekend we’re heading back to the land of happy cows, storks, and some of the best gravel roads in Poland. Suwalszczyzna completely stole our hearts the first time we visited. Last year we spent an amazing May long weekend here - and this year we’re returning for the Corpus Christi holiday.
What makes this region so special? Endless rolling hills dotted with grazing cows, crossed by winding white gravel roads that feel almost Tuscan. It’s the silence, the space, the incredibly low population density, and the feeling that time moves a little slower here. It’s also one of the last corners of Poland that mass tourism still hasn’t discovered. Join us and experience what a true Endless gravel adventure in Suwalszczyzna feels like.
All photos on this page come from previous editions of this very camp.

Accommodation
We’ll stay in a guesthouse near the village of Sidory. The location guarantees a quiet, intimate atmosphere, complete peace and quiet — and an incredible night sky.
Note: there are no shops nearby; the closest one is about 10 km from the base.
Meals are included in the price:
- 4 breakfasts
- 3 dinners
The food is excellent and the portions are generous 🙂 Vegetarian and meat options are available.
Rooms are 2–3 people, each with a private bathroom. The rooms are simple and modest — nothing luxurious — but clean and comfortable.
We’ll also have access to a sauna, and there is a shared outdoor area with a fireplace, which we’ll definitely use on Wednesday evening after arrival.
Routes
Suwalszczyzna is a true gravel paradise, filled with scenic, winding premium gravel roads. Most of the routes we’ll ride have been explored and tested by us over the past few seasons. Technically they’re quite easy — sandy or very loose sections are rare, and asphalt segments have very little traffic. The overall ratio of gravel to asphalt is roughly 50/50, and we recommend tires at least 40 mm wide.
The region isn’t flat — climbs tend to be short and relatively gentle, but after a few hours of riding they start to add up. The camp is not particularly difficult, but it does require a moderate level of general fitness.
As always, we’ll divide into two groups with different riding paces (and slightly different distances).
- faster group: 26–30 km/h cruising speed
- slower group: 23–26 km/h cruising speed
As always, we’ve prepared two route options for each day so we can split into groups based on pace and experience level. This way everyone can find the right ride for themselves. Both groups follow largely overlapping routes, so at least once a day we meet up as a full crew for a shared break.
Note: We reserve the right to make small adjustments to the routes if necessary. These changes will not significantly affect the overall distance or elevation gain.
